On November 26th CN Giada Verde took part to the last day of the Iran Country Presentation, the first solo exhibition organized in Rome and aimed at connecting the Italian institutions, entrepreneurs and professionals with their Iranian counterparts.
The five-days event, co-organized by IIEC Iran International Exhibitions Co Tehran – Chamran Highway and Tehran International Fair Ground, and promoted by the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Italy and by the Italian Embassy in Iran, as well as by several other actors in the field of the bilateral cooperation between the two counties, represented a great occasion to introduce to participants coming from all the Italian regions the main features of the Republic of Iran and, moreover, the importance of bridging the gap between the two countries by strengthening the cultural, economic and institutional ties.
Besides the institutional speeches delivered during the opening ceremony by the two Ministers Mr. Mohammad Reza Nemathzadeh and Mr. Carlo Calenda, and by Mr. Rosario Alessandrello, President of the CCII Italy-Iran Chamber of Commerce, the event provided several discussion occasions also in terms of B2B meetings arranged among more than 150 Iranian companies representatives and their Italian counterparts, in order to encourage an increasing level of cooperation in several different fields.
Particularly impressive has been the display of the Iranian artistic, cultural and natural heritage through the setting up of exhibits and interactive workshops, the projection of movies and documentaries, and the organization of art performances during the five days.
CN Giada Verde’s team had also the chance to take part to the gala dinner organized at Villa Miani in Rome on November 23rd: the party gathered a huge number of guests and gave them the opportunity to know each other while favoring the cultural exchange.
CN Giada Verde’s team could also meet many Iranian entrepreneurs working mostly in chemicals and plastics industry and coming from different Iranian regions: Country Center – Tehran Province, the capital, North-east of the country – Razavi Khorasan, near the Turkmenistan, North – West country – Ardabil Province, close to Azerbaijan etc.
Beyond the pleasant dinner between Italian and Iranian friends, CN Giada Verde’s team has already been hosted by many entrepreneurs for their next opportunity to visit Iran.
CN Giada Verde therefore confirms the uniqueness and the absolutely positive value of events like the Iran Country Presentation, where the intercultural communication and exchange contributed to highlight how the benefits of new economic cooperation projects are just around the corner.
